We have done a little bit of research into where to stay for the wedding and here are some ideas - please mention 'the Houghton wedding' when enquiring at the Thurrock Hotel as we have negotiated special rates:
The Thurrock Hotel rates are, 30 pounds per person per night (60 pound per couple), bed & breakfast. Childrens rates are 5 pounds (0-10 year olds), 10 pounds (10-14 year olds) over 14 years are full price. To make the most of this offer the rooms must be booked and paid for, in full, in advance. The hotel can supply cots and Z beds, depending upon availability. If you book a room on the night the prices are 85 pounds double/twin and 70 pounds for a single.
